A Creative Time party is a force with which to be reckoned. Last April they broke the factory seal, so-to-speak, at the Domino Sugar Factory in honor of Julian Schnabel. Their Fall Ball, on November 12th, may not have three football-field-length tables set for six hundred, but will be a immersive dance-a-thon of equal measure.
The dress code is vibrant colors. The club boasts the best sound system in the City (with DJs JD Samson, Tiki Disco & Jeffrey Tonnesen at the decks) There's artist activations by Alex Da Corte, Eske Kath, Andrea Mary Marshall, and André Saraiva. And Ruffian and John Gordon Gauld have created a special interactive installation called, "Williamsburg Toile." If you're judicious about your pay-to-play events, this is worth the cut.
