Hey, New York! Your Winter Wonderlands Are Here

New York-This Just In!
We're not trying to brag, but winter in New York City is kind of our thing. You'll find the only two winter wonderlands you'll ever need at The Standard, East Village and The Standard, High Line—the East Village with alpine yurts, fur coats, and fondue, and High Line with ice skating, hot spiked drinks, and bread and cheese volcanoes (both have cookies and snuggling, don't worry). Our holiday wish is to go to both at the exact same time, but a certain large man in red told us it wasn't possible.

(That same large man in red did tell us to keep an eye out for curling rinks at The Standard, East Village and The Standard, High Line, coming January 2017.)

Cozy up in our glorious Winter Garden at The Standard, East Village. Strip off those extra layers in our heated alpine yurts, or play dress up and put on one of our complimentary furs you can borrow for the night. Once you're settled, sip on a hot spiked drink, then slip into some fondue and/or apple strudel. See our full menu here.

If you want to get extra toasty, you and your friends can have a Fondue Feast in the comfort of your very own yurt. Reservations available by calling (212) 228-3344 or emailing reservations@narcissarestaurant.com. See our Fondue Feast menu here.

And when you're good and toasty, don’t forget to pick up your Frasier fir, courtesy of Crest Hardware. Every tree comes with two complimentary skate passes to The Rink at The Standard, High Line, and a portion of all proceeds will benefit The Lower East Side Girls Club.

Lace up those skates! We have our very own ice rink at The Standard, High Line, complete with a zamboni (for smoother ice), a chiller (for harder, more icy ice, even when it's warm), and an extended roof enclosure with tons of extra heaters.

And if you're more the ski lodge type,
snuggle up with some cozy eats and cozier drinks at our heated outdoor patio next to the rink. Don't lift a finger for anything other than your hot toddy.

Highlights on this year's menu include Swedish meatballs, an orecchiette with Italian sausage, schnitzel, and something called a bread and cheese volcano, which is a loaf of bread filled with cheese. And don't forget to save room for dessert. For those on the go, or just passing by, we have a street-facing kaffeeklatsch that will keep the spirits warm and happy until the weather is once again warm and happy.

Here's all the info you need to win the gold Michelle Kwan didn't (still too soon?):
