As we know the body tends to accumulate toxins that end up stored in our muscles. Said toxins can make us feel lethargic, heavy and low on pep. What to do? Yoga. Most forms of vigorous exercise stimulate all three systems of elimination (circulatory, digestive and lymph) to some extent, thereby helping the body in its quest to cleanse and detox. But yoga, with the added bonus of calming the mind and nervous system takes the detox one step further, keeping the waste-removal departments of the body functioning at their best.

Try some gentle twist poses or one of our favorite detox position — headstand eagle pose — in your living room, office, the beach, (anywhere, really) to unleash energy-depleting toxins.
