The Standard, Hua Hin, the Thai resort where chic beach vibes meet mid-century style, has celebrated its first anniversary with an upbeat birthday party at The Lido Bar, filled with fabulous food, sparkling drinks and inspiring entertainment!
On 1 December 2022, one year since the resort first threw open its doors and started to redefine hospitality in Hua Hin, this eclectic seafront retreat invited guests, local residents, executives and VIPs – including Thailand’s leading trend-setters and taste-makers – to mark this important milestone. In the stunning surroundings of The Lido Bar, amid lush-landscaped gardens and next to the iconic pool, guests were able to savor many of the elements that have helped The Standard, Hua Hin become such a popular place to stay and play.
Merrymakers were treated to a selection of colorful cocktails, handcrafted especially for this occasion by talented mixologists, along with signature Italian dishes from the executive chef, including fresh crab spaghetti and stone-baked pizzas. The resort’s resident DJ spun deep house, soul and funk tunes as the moon shone over the ocean, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

The Standard, Hua Hin’s first-anniversary action also included the launch of “Camp Standard” – a full-on holiday camp featuring two days of energizing experiences and fun surprises. From stand-up paddleboard yoga sessions, beachfront boot camps and arts & crafts classes to rooftop picnics, pool parties and campfire shows.
