Things are getting a little strange at Double Standard this Halloween. Barbs is back with a spooky edition of (Not) Your Standard Quiz Night, where high culture meets low standards — with a few tricks, treats and questionable decisions thrown in for good measure. Expect razor-sharp questions, live piano interludes, improvised chaos and prizes ranging from genuinely desirable to deeply concerning. Rounds will wander through pop culture, music of questionable taste, Halloween horrors, London lore and whatever else Barbs decides to summon on the night.
One minute you're battling it out over niche cultural knowledge, the next the room falls quiet and Barbs moves to the piano. Mozart. Stillness. Possibly a ghost. Completely unnecessary and absolutely perfect.
Costumes are highly encouraged. Good taste is entirely optional.
