About Dave Swindells

Dave Swindells is a British photographer renowned for documenting nightlife, music, and youth culture over the past four decades. Beginning his career photographing London's punk and underground club scenes, he went on to become one of the defining visual chroniclers of Ibiza's golden era, capturing iconic venues including Amnesia, Pacha, Ku, and Space, as well as legendary DJs and artists who shaped dance music culture. His work has appeared in publications including The Face, i-D, NME, and Mixmag, and he is the author of Ibiza '89, a celebrated photographic book offering an intimate portrait of the island at the height of its cultural transformation.
