“Yoga” means union or oneness of being. “Nidra” means “sleep”. Together, “Yoga Nidra” is often referred to as deep relaxation. It also means to know yourself as that sense of nonseparation regardless of your state of consciousness (awake, asleep, or in deep sleep).
During this 90 minute workshop you will be invited to engage in gentle Hatha Yoga stretches and grounding breathing exercises preparing you to directly experience deep relaxation, reinforcing your true peaceful nature. It will be followed by practices to apply in daily living to experience a sense of peace amidst your circumstances. This is an open level with no experience required.
