After a year hiatus, our friends at Sabah return to our tropical oasis for their Miami Beach Residence. As usual, they’ll be setting up a Sabah Living room, bringing classic Sabahs and special colors exclusively made for Miami, plus some Sabah goods, and a few of their favorite brands. Expect the usual Sabah hospitality from Diego and Ari with cafecitos and wine. 

This year we invited Venezuelan textile artist Cassandra Mayela who creates non-verbal storytelling through fabric and touch. Starting the residency on opening weekend, Cassandra will be live weaving one of her signature Parabán (room-divider). The experience will be both a performance and an installation which will remain on display throughout the residency. Using discarded garments, samples, and different materials collected from the Sabah Team and our very own Standard family, Cassandra will weave our stories together to celebrate the long collaboration between Sabah & The Standard over the years. 

The Sabah Residency will be open Saturday, January 15th through Monday, February 28th, 10AM-6PM Daily. Also, mark your calendars for the first Sabah Social with live salsa music by Javier Garcia and friends, plus delicious cocktails on Sunday January 23rd, 3-6PM.
