Reservations Coordinator

Key Relationships:

Internal: Reservations Staff, F&B Managers, Culinary Team, and Executive Committee Members.

 

External: Guests


Work Area:

Reservations Office

Job involves working:

·         Under variable temperature conditions (heat or cold).

·         Under variable noise levels.

·         Outdoors/indoors.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

·         Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of office equipment. Use equipment only as intended.

·         Anticipate Reservations management needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all requests, however busy and whatever time of day.

·         Maintain positive employee relations at all times.

·         Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned office work areas.

·         Maintain complete knowledge of computer system and manual procedures.

·         Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; maintain cleanliness at all times.  Report shortages to supervisor.

·         Assist with special projects for The Reservations Department

·         Enter Room / Restaurant Reservations

·         Coordinate/Organize Private Dining Room & Large Party Reservations for The Standard Grill, The Standard Biergarten & The Standard Plaza, Including providing BEOs to guests and F&B staff

·         Keep up to date prefix menus for large party TSG reservations

·         Print menus for large party reservations at TSG

·         Assist with the reservations team inbox and phone calls depending on level of demand

Essential:

·         Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o   Are adept and capable of multi-tasking

o   Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

o   Maintain positive guest relations at all times

o   Must possess advanced computational ability and math skills, including analysis and reporting capabilities.  Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office programs is required.

o   Hospitality Experience

o   Advanced Knowledge of OPERA PMS, Triple Seat, and Resy OS are a big plus.

o   Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

o   Strong organization skills

o   Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.

 

·         Physical:

o   The ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, walking and lifting.

 

·         Qualifications Standards:

o   High School Diploma or equivalent

o   Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
