Receiving Clerk

Responsible for receiving and cataloging items purchased or delivered to the Hotel. Stock and distribute items requested in a controlled manner. Assist in ordering and inventorying product in storage locations throughout the hotel. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. Multilingual is helpful but not required.
Ability to maintain accurate records
High school diploma/GED Organizational skills and detail oriented mindset
Comprehension of basic mathematics
Data entry and basic computer skills
Flexibility of scheduled days off and ability to work on holidays.


Receive and sign for deliveries
Unload and unpack shipments of products
Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities
Report damages and shortages
Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter the receiving data
Record receiving data in procurement or inventory tracking systems
Prepare received stock for orderly and controlled distributions
Monitor inventory levels of products and order accordingly to par
Fulfil requisitions for items and track distributions
Clean and maintain the workspace and storage areas

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Dexterity and physical strength/stamina in moving and lifting items up 50 pounds
