Job Overview
The Food and Beverage Expeditor is responsible for full-process ticket expediting, from assisting with firing dishes in the kitchen, to plating, to delivering finished dishes to guest tables. The Food and Beverage Expeditor will also be responsible for performing sidework for FOH, replenishing FOH stock and clearing bus bins, preparing mise-en-place, and any other duties designated as necessary by the manager on duty.

- Physical:
- Able to work standing for a minimum period of 8 hours a day
- Periodical bending, kneeling, and stretching
- Able to pull, push, carry and lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
- Understanding: Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions according to established procedures
- Comprehension: Listening comprehension and basic communication in the English language
- Organizational Skills: Work efficiently, utilize multi-tasking, prioritize tasks
- Hygiene and Sanitation: Adherence to uniform, grooming, personal hygiene standards and expectations per SOP’s as well as all COVID related hygiene protocol
- Punctuality: Adherence to posted schedule and arrival time and attendance at mandatory meetings when scheduled
- Responsibility: Personal comportment in line with Standard, New York policies, standards, and expectations
- Willingness to learn and adapt

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Accurate and consistent firing of order tickets to the culinary team
- Assist with plating/finishing food dishes
- Running of food dishes from kitchen to guest tables
- Assist with restocking of FOH spaces, including dishware, china, glass, and silverware
- Assist with clearing bus bins from FOH spaces
- Assist kitchen staff with mise-en-place setup and replenishment
- Assist with maintenance of back-of-house storage and stock rooms as required by management
- Properly bag all garbage and prepare for pick-up
- Provide level of service consistent with established standards in every aspect
- Perform other duties as requested by manager
