La Mamie's
A collective of DJs from Paris. Founded in 2007, they have been hugely influential in shaping Paris’ flourishing music scene with significant contributions on Le Mellotron, Macki Music Festival, and La Ferme du Bonheur. They have played countless gigs in Paris including at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, around Europe, as well as festivals in Asia such as Wonderfruit in Thailand and co-organizing Shi Fu Miz in Hong Kong. Their sound specializes in all forms of house music, yet they do not shy away from other genres such as reggae, jazz, and drum&bass. Creating the appropriate atmosphere, the collective is in constant search of the place where the festive spirit will prevail.
DJ ZOMBIE
Being part of Bangkok music community through her role as a lead vocal/guitarist of Thai indie band Yellow Fang, co-founder of Bangkok based concert promoter HAVE YOU HEARD?, selector at HAVE YOU HEARD? Records and also partner of Maho Rasop festival. Dj Zombie as known as Pang has a deep interest anda wide collection of music and is always keen to share her joy. Being a part-time DJ is her personal music therapy. Expect genre-fluid dancey set from deep house, electro, boogie, balearic infused techno to proto Thai disco-pop.
Kartypartyy
A bass dj & producer based in bangkok, thailand. Kart is responsible for bringing this new sound to thailand, in 2016 he believed it was time for someone in thailand to step up and let people hear what bass music was. Whether it’s drum & bass, riddim, dubstep, bass house or hard; everything revolves around his love and passion for bass music. It was through his passion and hunger for more that lead to kart being in the forefront of this genre in thailand, all this from scratch in just 4 short years. Since 2016 kart stayed humble, playing small gigs at any club in thailand that would be brave enough to play some new sound. Today kart is a regular at all the local music festivals in thailand becoming a household name for bringing that harder, louder, bass bumping music to the masses. Karts passion does not end with him, he founded and created a platform called bass head temple for all those who share the same excitement and affection for bass music. This is a lifestyle for kart.
The Observatory Saigon Takeover
First opened its doors as a bar with a small gallery on Ton That Tung street, District 1 in 2013. It quickly evolved into something more closely resembling a club, and within a year had to move to its location by the Bach Dang river in District 4. There it remained for nearly 3 years, until it had to move once again in the second half of 2017. It then reopened at the current location in July 2018.
Its aim has always been to provide a relaxed and open space for anyone and everyone to feel welcome and to share our love for music and having a good time. The Observatory is located in Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam and is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They will be taking over The Sky Beach with the following DJ line-up:
- San Soda
- Vynni
- Khoi Mai
- Hibiya Line
Barbara Boeing
With the rare power to enchant audiences and critics, Barbara Boeing is considered one of the jewels of the effervescent Curitiba nightlife scene, co-founder of the groups Alter Disco and Discoteca ODARA. Barbara Boeing has been a DJ and music researcher for over a decade. Always passionate about music, at the age of 23 she joined four friends to form a band, which later became the Alter Disco collective. Free parties between friends grew and became synonymous with freedom of expression, changing social paradigms and quality sound in Curitiba, going against the serious labels very common in the local scene. In this bustling scene, Barbara always stood out, creating memorable tracks at her parties, which resulted in new horizons and performances for the DJ. Today, she can be proud of having made a lot of people dance at big celebrations like the Subtropikal Festival, on the dance floor at clubs like Vibe or at her side project Discoteca ODARA, where the artist interacts alongside Dani Souto (Glocal).
Transport
Made up of literal brothers Seelie (Liam) and Mr. Mowgli (Luke), alongside - figurative brother - Brent Burns, the trio bring a lot to Bangkok's party table. Musically they incorporate a lot of grand tackle, ranging from Balearic and afro-cosmic, all the way across the rainbow of goodness to Chicago house and Detroit techno. They definitely pay close attention to what's hot internationally and are all committed hunters of dance floor fire. Quite apart from that, they're all excellent lads, and at their discos, the DJ ego is firmly set aside in favour of party fun.
Cody Currie
At the forefront of the jazz-house revival across Europe. Hailing from London, the young artist is crossing borders within his DJ sets, productions and live band. With a solid string of releases over the years on labels such as Classic, Shall Not Fade, Shake’d and Toy Tonics, he has been making waves in major cities across the continent. The multifaceted artist released his debut album on Toy Tonics in late 2022 to high praise from his industry peers, with heavy support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Mixmag and Spotify, and will be followed shortly by a sequence of remixes from Dan Shake, Kaidi Tatham and more. In 2023 Cody launched his own platform for music, Lucas Records, kicking things off with a string of hot new singles. In addition to collaborating on records with acclaimed vocalists such as Eliza Rose, Cody’s productions are frequently laced with his own vocals and keys. It’s this production style that has culminated to Cody launching his own live 5 piece band project in early 2023 – with Cody sitting comfortably on vocals and keys. Cody is deep into a busy touring diary this summer, with shows across Europe and North America, he will be hitting clubs and festivals such as Village Underground, Kaiku, Kala Festival, Melt, Panorama Bar, and more. Cody has also taken to curating his own parties supported by an all-star cast of international guests and some of Europe’s finest selectors.
Secretsundaze
Founded in 2002, Secretsundaze is a party, record label and dance music community founded by the DJ / Production duo of James Priestley and Giles Smith, who record and perform under the same banner. They’ve stayed true to themselves all this time and love what they do.
Seelie
Has been showcasing his deep love for music for the best part of 20 years. During this time, his passion for dance music culture and its values has manifested in an array of channels.
As a DJ, he quickly became a regular throughout the UK’s clubbing institutions and illegal rave scene, playing alongside the likes of Move D, Chez Damier, Jane Fitz, Prosumer, Derrick Carter and Jeremy Underground.
Once in Bangkok he founded the infamous Transport parties alongside his brother Luke, using warehouses, rooftops and disused strip clubs to curate secret location events across the city. Now 7 years in Asia, Seelie has become a permanent fixture at some of the continent's most renowned underground parties.
