Whenever I lace up my skates and hit the ice on the rink at The Standard, New York, I like to channel the skating greats in order to help motivate me...Boitano, Yamaguchi, Hamilton, Kerrigan. Oh wait...scratch that last one...I like my knees too much. Maybe I'll go with Harding instead.
The other day, one of skating's (and fashion's) greatest, Vera Wang, came down to the rink to give a lesson to Edward Barsamian of the New York Times' T Magazine. And hilarity ensues! To read Edward's account of his lesson by the legendary Ice Queen...ummm, I mean, the legendary Queen of the Ice, click here.
