Le Bain's Playlist: LQQK vs. AHARAW

New York-Le Bain
NY creative duo LQQK Studio and Doomdab's mastermind, AHARAW, share their playlists du jour before they play Le Bain on Sunday, April 23rd.
XHOSA's "Let Me Go"
AHARAW: The most recent release from Doom Dab works as a spotlight on an extremely talented and focused young artist. The summer-ready single "Let Me Go" from XHOSA is a shining example of her growing skill as a writer, producer, and singer.

Person of Interest's "Boost the Whip"
LQQK STUDIO: Person Of Interest, a Brooklyn producer and friend of the LQQK crew, made this smash hit that just got released on the Future Times label. This track has a special place in my heart because it draws inspiration from another track that was edited by Max D who runs Future Times, but never got released. We all loved the track so much POI made his own version of that vibe.

Eli Escobar's "Chaka Khan (Carry Nation Remix)"
AHARAW: This track has been a set starter since I first heard it. Its definitive "This is my house" is a great way of letting the crowd know you mean business from the get go. The remix from the powerhouse that is the Carry Nation transforms it into yet another set staple with its own unique power.
Max Mcferren's "Ya Bad Sister"
LQQK STUDIO: Another NYC-based powerhouse and homie of the LQQK crew, Max Mcferren, dropped this heater that is always in my record bag. Max is an incredible DJ and obviously skilled producer. This track showcases an amazing ability to use a sample that everyone knows, and take it to a place no one expected, but is sure glad that it did!
