The Standard’s New Year’s Eve Lineup

If that inevitable, nagging question, “What are you doing for New Year’s eve?” is already sneaking up on you, take a deep breath: we’ve got revels and dining to ring in 2016 on both coasts. The Standard, High Line, East Village, and Hollywood have New Year’s lineups to beat back the naysayers, and Alma and Narcissa are planning special menus for the big night. All you have to do is decide on your vibe and make a plan to launch yourself into the New Year as you see fit. Allow us to illuminate the evening's options.
NEW YORK
The Standard, High Line
If you’re feeling glitzy, snap up your tickets to NYE in that most legendary of locales: The Top of The Standard. Simply put, you can’t get more chic than a black-tie blowout with the one-and-only Nile Rodgers & Chic. It’s going to be an incredible night in Boom with the skyline in every direction.

Meanwhile, just down below, The Standard Grill and The Standard Biergarten have soirées of their own. This year’s fête has a distinct francophile bent. The Standard Grill is serving up a decadent 3-course prix fixe dinner, including champagne toast. While the Biergarten hosts Marie Antoinette’s Masquerade Bingo. Heads will roll. Make your reservation now, for one or both. Both? Both. Call 212-645-4100 or email TheStandardGrill@StandardHotels.com.
The Standard, East Village
If fresh, cozy and comfy is what you’re envisioning, the smartest play in town is a reservation for Chef Fraser’s superb New Year’s prix-fixe at Narcissa, our California-inspired gem adjacent to The Standard, East Village.

LOS ANGELES
The Standard, Hollywood
If you’re in LA, the evening is your oyster/lobster/caviar/hot fudge sundae. There's two routes you can go, depending on your mood.
Make your reservations for Bryan Rabin and Adam Bravin’s Black and White Masquerade Ball at The Standard, Hollywood. The evening starts with a special dinner at our time-sensitive, resident restaurant Alma. Then, the party moves over to Giorgio’s for a performance by Joey Arias, followed by dancing, dancing, and more dancing into 2016. Note: you probably won’t want to head home after this one, so we suggest you snap up a special NYE room rate and make a night of it.
Or, if you want your Alma without a side of Arias and the pop of bottles, our books are open and await your reservation. Visit OpenTableemail us: Alma@StandardHotels.com, or call: (323) 822-3131.
