      Job Overview: 

      Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Sales Managers, provide administrative support to maximize sales revenue across multiple market segments including corporate, groups, consortia and retail. Maintain department’s tracking systems, databases and reports. Represent the sales department both internally and externally in a professional manner in accordance with company standards.


      You'll do the following and more!

      • Sales reservation requests, traces and coordination.

      • Analyze Reservations Reports (Uncover any potential leads to distribute to sales management)
      • Office administration (accounting, office supplies, meeting room requests, show room requests, sales/marketing gift inventory)
      • Sales collateral / marketing coordination (newsletters, sales kits, gift bags, etc.)
      • Maintain Opera/Delphi/Cendyn databases
      • Host site inspections as required
      • Sales VIP program (research and identify as appropriate)
      • RFP tracking and submissions for corporate and consortia markets (Lanyon, Prolodgic & Sabre)
      • Coordinate and assist with rate loading of corporate and consortia with Revenue Team
      • Group proposals, contracts, rooming lists and at times client management
      • Sales event planning and support
      • Contribute to department’s annual revenue goal by establishing new relationships with local and like-minded companies

      Job Requirements:

      • College Degree in Business, Hospitality, or Related field preferred.
      • Hotel experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of Opera, Delphi, Cendyn preferred.
      • Ability to enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
      • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
      • Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
      • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
