Los Angeles - Hollywood Guest Relations Lead (Security)

      We are currently looking for a motivated and charismatic
      individual to help make our guest experience exceptional. The right experience,

      As a Guest Relations Lead, you will be responsible for:

      Assisting the Director, Guest Relations in enforcing policies and procedures.
      Assisting in leading the security team & contract security, in both day to day operations and for special events.
      Liaise with LAPD, local law enforcement and the LA community as a "good neighbor."
      Assisting with the preparation of action plans and training sessions/materials to respond to guest complaints, and manage crowd control. 
      Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Guest Relations department. Consistent support, promotion and enforcement of hotel policy relating to employee and guest safety (weapons, drugs & alcohol, fraternizing, locker inspections, & loitering) and security.
      Reviewing of all work related injuries. Establish and keep track of all injuries with an effective filing system, including updates in the Osha Log and compliance with state and federal laws. Forward appropriate documents to Insurance Company, HR and Director of GR.
      Reviewing for content, completeness and accuracy, all incident and shifts reports filed by department. 
      Providing support for all departments as needed.
      Possessing the ability to assist staff in all job responsibilities -- including break coverage.
      Assisting to maintain the proper Vibe in all public areas, including lighting, music, clear guest hallways, etc.

      Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property.  

      Anticipating potential problems with unruly or inebriated guests.

      Being proactive
      in preventing situations that could jeopardize the hotel’s reputation and
      standing in the community. (i.e. underage drinking, over-serving patrons,
      unsafe behavior.)

       When needed, able to physically restrain or detain an individual.  Guest relations responds with a sense of urgency to any and all emergency situations in a calm and professional manor.  They act as liaisons with local law-enforcement and fire department agencies.


      Our ideal candidate:

      At least 3 years experience in a similar role

      Candidate must possess a CA Guard Card

      Open availability necessary
