Los Angeles - Downtown LA Guest Relations Agent (Security)

      We are currently looking for a motivated and charismatic individual to help make our guest experience exceptional. The right experience, attitude and desire to work on our Guest Relations Team are important qualities! Got personality? This is a Part-time position.

      As a Guest Relations Agent you will be responsible for:

      Patrolling grounds, conducting report writing, responding to calls/incidents, and stand posts.
      This position will translate into a "hosting" type element, and will add to the experience. Every interaction is key. Assist guests, build on the "relations" part of Guest Relations, and actively participate in the day to day hotel and venue operations.

      Guest Relations ensures the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property. They monitor the consumption of alcohol by both employees and guests. They respond to guest concerns and complaints. They communicate effectively with all other Guest Relations Agents, wait staff, venue management, and general public to ensure that guest's needs are met.

      Guest Relations anticipates potential problems with unruly or inebriated guests. They understand the sense of urgency that pertains to dealing with these types of guests. They are capable of investigating and documenting all incidents and accidents on property, which includes interviewing witnesses.

      They are proactive in preventing situations that could jeopardize the hotel's reputation and standing in the community. (i.e. underage drinking, over-serving patrons, unsafe behavior.) 

      When needed, able to physically restrain or detain an individual. Guest relations responds with a sense of urgency to any and all emergency situations in a calm and professional manor. They act as liaisons with local law-enforcement and fire department agencies. 

      They ensure that everyone, both guests and staff, can have a good time and are safe about it. 

      It is important that all Guest Relations Agents have thorough knowledge of the hotel and its operations. 

      Our ideal candidate:

      At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
      Candidate must possess a CA Guard Card.
      Open availability preferred.
      Previous security experience in a hotel is preferred.
