New York - East Village, NYC Pastry Cook

      We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working Full Time Pastry Cook to join our team!

      All pastries are made from scratch in house. The team creates incredible breakfast & a la carte pastries daily. We are looking for someone who is experienced in both production and plating. Bread baking experience is not necessary, but it is a plus.

      The right candidate has 1-3 years of restaurant experience and a thirst to learn. Candidates should have solid skills, a highly-developed sense of urgency, and be able to work well under pressure.
      Also, open availability is a MUST!

      MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
      Fine Dining Experience
      Pastry Experience
      NYC Restaurant Experience (1+ Years)
      Able to Stand for 5+ Hours
      Ability to lift/carry/move 50+ lbs; ability to stand upright for extended periods of time, ability to spend extended periods of time bending/twisting/reaching
      Culinary skills (knife skills, food knowledge, food handling & safety etc.)
      Ability to read, write & speak fluent English
      Willingness to learn and adapt
      Ability to follow direction and multi-task

      NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
      Culinary Degree
      Pastry Education
      ServSafe / Food Handlers Certification
