New York - East Village, NYC Marketing Coordinator

      We’re looking for an extremely outgoing Marketing Coordinator! The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing director and team with updating online content, including all social media sites and The Standard Hotel website. Manage booking and execution of all photo shoots and sending internal communication/updates to Intranet. The role also involves curating and cultivating partnerships, neighborhood relationships and assisting with execution of the programming events.

      Responsibilities:

      Marketing Tasks

      • Plan, set-up, and
        coordinate in-house photo/film shoots
      • Work directly with
        PR to ensure proper coverage.
      • Create and set up
        barter agreements/partnerships (maintain relationships)
      • Update content via
        CMS on the Standard Hotels website and 3rd party sites

      Sponsorship Efforts

      • Coordinate donation
        requests, based on history and level of appropriateness 

      • Provide needed
        materials (logos, images, descriptions) to select affiliates
      • Press Dissemination
      • Daily press monitor – Open/read through
        clips reviewed from PR office, organize print-outs and hard clips into Standard
        New York Press folders
      • Maintain and update
        press library for existing and developing projects
      • Creation of monthly
        programing recaps + big press initiatives
      • Collaboration/Sponsorship
        Efforts: new partners, execution, etc.
      • Standard Sponsored
        Events: Programming, invites, + RSVP tracking
      • Creation of monthly
        programing recaps + big press initiatives
      • Coordinate with
        F&B, events & production teams

      • Management of
        happenings posts and upkeep of specials or property listings.
      • Work with Marketing
        Manager to coordinate digital marketing and PPC spends. Maintains monthly
        budget.

      • Entering invoices
        from Vendors
      • Barter Budget
        Tracking
      • Programming budget
        tracking

      Social Media

      • Twitter (constant
        monitoring and responding to tweets, promote events)
      • Facebook/Standard
        Culture/Foursquare: content update
      • Instagram (posting
        for various outlet Instagram pages, interacting with users)

       

      Requirements:

      • Multi-lingual
      • Has 2 years prior work experience in a related field
      • College degree or currently studying hospitality, marketing, or business
        management
      • Understanding of graphic design programs – Photoshop & InDesign
      • Social media management
      • Graphic Design Experience
